[Healeys] BT7 Mk II Door Shut Finisher - Adjustment?

The shut pillar trim that has come out of England has never fit the car correctly. We have used and supplied the ones the come from Kilmartin in Australia for many years and they always fit. They usually are a little big so they can be trimmed to fit your car.

As I recall, and I could be wrong because it was ten years ago, I had the same situation. The ill fitting set was from one of the usual vendors. I believe I ordered a set from Kilmartin and they were spot on. Check with Kilmartin and see if they sell them.

    Everything was going very smoothly installing the new Bristleflex door seals and lower aluminum trim set.  Too smoothly…

    A trial fit of the door shut finish set revealed the protrusion on the top is misaligned.  Anyone experienced this before?

    (The dotted line suggests what I’m thinking about)
