[Healeys] Boot lid seal

Thanks Larry, but I don't think you quite got my question.I know which side is glued to the lid, but the seal itself has a different profile at each edge.My attachment is a cross section showing the difference. So, which edge is on the outside of the lid, and which goes toward the inside?

 Stephen, The concave side faces the lip of the shroud.  The lip
contacts the seal in the center of the concave surface ideally.

I'm about to glue on the trunk or boot lid seal, and I see that the two edges are slightly different.    
  
  
As per my attachment, one side is more bulbous, and the other is sharper.  
  
So...which side faces in, and which side faces out?
