OK - here is one of the worlds big secrets.  The worlds greatest repository 
of knowledge and parts on vintage horns resides with a chap known as "Taff 
the Horns".  He has everything you would need and does complete horn 
restorations. He is a bit of an odd duck, as one might imagine from someone 
who has devoted his whole life to the repair of horns, but at least for me, 
he has been reliable and does an outstanding job.  He usually has a long 
waiting list, so get in line! He is located in Wales.
