 That is interesting.  I have a set of real Cinturatos that are 'like new'
although they are probably 30 years old if anyone needs a set for a trailer
queen.  I sure wouldn't drive on them.

Exciting news....

I was doing a little bit of checking and I noticed that Longstone Tyres in
the UK has been working with Pirelli and has reintroduced the classic
Pirelli Cinturato CN36 in 185/70VR15, for a pretty good price:

These are great tires, they have the correct diameter and the fattest tread
width in the tire size.  I know these wear fairly fast, but since we all
replace our tires every 5 to 10 years it shouldn't be a big deal.  I have
new Vredesteins on my car but if I was buying tires today I would get the
Pirellis for sure.

By the way, Longstone Tyres has some sort of special arrangement with UK
Post, so their shipping charges are pretty reasonable and very very fast.
