[Healeys] Fender Refitting Question

The tapped steel plate is about 1" x 3" and therefore will pull the inner
flange tightly closed against the body, spreading the load evenly and
keeping the flange flat. This is a critical and more difficult area to
obtain a nice closed seam, and the plate will allow that to happen.
