Alan,
I passed on that story as told to me, quoted as closely as I can
remember (AFAIK, the
person who told it to me IS responsible for iPhone construction). I
took it to mean getting
quality from the Chinese is a struggle, but can be done (as evidenced by
the quality of
Apple products).
Your experiences are different ... we now have two data points. Here's
