be careful w/ Clevites.     Make sure to dial bore gauge the
assembled rod or mains or rods.  I have had some that were
grossly out of spec to the point I was rubbing hard on the crank
across the parting line – plastigage missed the problem.

Ken G got me hooked on the Clevite 77’s. They are made for the jag 4.2L and now I get them from Summit. I’ve been told you can get them in .001 increments but haven’t followed up on it yet.

I get them coated locally. I’m freshening up the bottom end with a new set next week.
