Mike:
As part of your research, I'd recommend you contact Jeff at Advanced
istributor (www.advanceddistributors.com) in Minnesota. He was recommended
o me by Joe Alexander. I had a dual-point Mallory distributor go bad and
fter talking with Jeff, decided to buy one of his rebuilt, Pertronix
quipped, Lucas units with an advance curve tailor made for my 1962 TR4
intage racer. Price was $225, vintage correct, works like a charm and
romptly delivered. Jeff supplies advance spec on outside of package so you
now how to install it and he can also supply spare parts for the Lucas
cap, rotor, etc) and provide a trade in for your old Lucas unit if you have
ne to send. He also recommended Magnecor spark plug wires which I bought
irectly from Magnecor.
Worth checking out. I have no financial interest, just a recommendation for
good supplier.

e
tuck. I have not taken it apart to see what the deal is. With all that
aid
s there suggestion on what I should do with the distributor. Should I get
his one rebuilt. Should I buy a new one? Should I do the pertronix
istributor?
Thanks
