[Fot] TR4 distributor question - advice needed

When using a MSD 6AL box with a Mallory distributor I took out the mechanical
advance mechanism and installed a MSD electronic advance, which connects into
the 6AL.  Joe(B)

For serious race engines, Yunick said to ditch
the advance mechanism all together and
lock the thing down.  to start, start to spin engine
over w/ ign off , then turn on ign.
an MG twin cam point plate can be useful if
you can find one.
