If you have NO idea what your valve setting is (R16) - safe is to set
them at
20 COLD - warm up the engine and then set to .17 HOT.Good test on
accuracy -
if a .18 fits then you are too loose.Don't also forget to press
down on the
push rod side before adjusting (just to make sure there is no oil
in the cup)
And HOT is (as far as I know) the ONLY way to set them. Engine is
typically
HOT after a short run to the liquour store, so you can acquire what
is needed
for PATIENCE <G>
