[Roadsters] 5spd into a 1500?

although I know technically it's not a problem, wondered people's thoughts on putting a 5spd or a 1600 4spd box into a 1500...in the long run, probably will end up selling the car if that makes any difference. I think Sid told me once there was a shifter for something that would bring it up through the original hole in the tunnel if using a 5spd...
