Back in the 80's when the SVRA granted the Formula Jr's permission to run alternate engines due to the difficulty in finding parts, I figured what is good for the goose should be good for the gander. I wrote a nice letter to the race chairman explaining how difficult it was getting finding rare race parts for my TR4 and there were plenty of parts available for small block Chevrolets etc. The answer had something to do with a downward temperature change in Hell.
