Simon: I believe it was new construction when the track was changed from the original configuration in the late '80's. Don't know if they built it as a replica of the Dunlop bridge of Lemans, or if they actually got Dunlop to spring for some bucks?? The people to ask are the SCRAMP offices, who manage the track.
