There was the Bristol crawler tractor which started
out with a detuned Austin A70 Engine. I am vague on
the connection, maybe someone in the UK can enlarge.

David Brown apart from conventional tractors, made
a two cylinder air-cooled rear-engine tractor, similar
to an AC model G. Its main claim to fame, was that
when fed an overdose of ether when starting would
sooner or later blow the cylinders clean off the crankcase!
