There's been a Turner running in VARAC for the last ten or 15 years, in
various hands. They were made with a central double tube chassis, with
outriggers supporting a fiberglass body - quite pretty. Running gear from a
Sprite, basically, but they seem to have more potential than a sprite when
equipped with the proper 948 BMC A series. possibly a bit lighter, and
better handling. It probably was sold as a kit, as many British small
production cars were. One point to check is that due to the contral tube
fram, getting an effective roll bar in is sometimes hard. Anchoring the bar
to the fiberglass obviously isn't good.

Value is about the same as a good sprite, or a little more. They were made
for several years, and came with larger engines in 1963 or so, as memory serves.

Cheers.
