When I disassembled my 3A motor I found that the bypass hose was plugged
with a 3/4" copper end cap, and I understand that this is not an uncommon
practice. What is the purpose of this and since I live in Florida (hot), is
this
necessary? I have reassembled without it, but of course, very easy to include
if necessary.
