Allan,
There are small screws that hold the frame on to the windscreen, I think
three of them on each side. They are really short and hard to find. If they
are
not the right ones and are too long they chip the glass and bingo as soon as
any pressure is put on the windscreen you have a crack. Been there had it
happen the nite before a Concours @ TRA. Oh what a bad thing! See if your
cracks
start in the vicinity of the screws. If they do?
