When the original style grill is "bowed in" it means that either it is 
an after market repro that was not done correctly, or the front apron 
has been damaged in the past, and whoever repaired it, used a lot of 
body filler, and did not capture the original curves of the apron.  The 
grill should be vertical without any bowing.
