Why not connect a small auxiliary battery across the ground and aux
power leads of the CD player. Use a 9 to 12 V battery - rechargeable
if you want a relatively permanent solution. Then provide constant
power (brown wire?) to the aux power lead via a diode. The diode is
not absolutely necessary but it stops the aux battery being drained
if you leave a door ajar or the lights switched on.
This of course will largely defeat the security code protection. You
could locate the aux battery away from the CD player to help confuse
a thief.
