TR6 Hood (bonnet) fitting TRicks?

Attempting to refit the hood on my TR6 and it wants to
go crooked.  What's the TRick for getting it straight?

PS Aplogies in advance for what may appear to be
Bogarting the the list for the next week or so, my
company has transfered me overseas for 3 years so the
race is on to get the car back together and into
storage.  Its not all bad, I'm going to the UK - can
you say petrol injection!
