I own a TR10 station wagon, so I can answer your questions! The car was
a rebadged Standard 8, becoming a Triumph when Triumph bought the
Standard Motor Car Company. They are rare in the US, not particularly
valuable (I bought my Estate Wagon, running, straight and rust-free and
complete for $500 about 7 - 8 years ago), but still with a cult
following. I also bought a sedan for $150, and know where there is
another that I have never inquired about.
But, that said, your Dad should be able to sell it on ebay or to someone
on the TR lists for somewhere between $500 - $1500, depending on condition.
The cars had a 948 cc triumph engine, and bad front drum brakes, but
they are cute! If the car is located near Arizona, I would be
interested! Take care,
Bill McLeod
