Having been in the car business for over 40 years I can tell you a extended
warranty is a in house (dealer) profit item in 98.9% of the cases where it
might be used, so many clauses and fine print, and 90% of the companys that
write this insurance are usually closed and gone in 3 years, just remember
even some of the factories give you a 7 year 70,000 mile warranty and still
sell a extended warranty during that coverage period, these plans have claims
only once in a great while and then usually only on a complete engine, no
matter what the settlement clerk tells you it is a white wash they MUST sell
