As with everything, parts prices can vary.  Be careful of no name and Chinese 
bearings, these just aren't worth the trouble.  

My 1964 International Harvester Cub Cadet lawn tractor has been in the family 
since 1980.  I've changed mower deck bearings due to wear over the years so I 
have a good feel as to how long they last.  The previous set was Chinese made 
from the local farm store ( Sunday ).  Mowed a few times, nicked a brick and 
instantly the bearings started to make noise.  I've hit stuff harder with name 
brand bearings and had no noise.

Federal-Mogul, BCA ( Bower ), FAG, NTN, CR, Timkin , INA, Fafnir are all 
better bearings.  Even then ask for country of origin.
