My how quickly we forget... They say as you get older the memory is
the second thing to go, and I don't recall what the first one was.
Took the GT6 out for a drive today. I totally misremembered what the
interior was like. Yes it does have the C-shaped cover and the
armrest behind the handbrake lever. It differs from the Spitfire in
that the C-shaped cover in the Spitfire has wings which extend back
to the rear deck. In the GT6 the sides of the hump are covered by
separate strips that extend back to the rear deck. The kneepads are
the same, seemingly.
