When the liners are compressed down into the figure 8 gasket they are then
sealed by the gasket cement on the "8" gasket and held in place by this
gasket cement, should also be true when the head is removed, this is the
only way you seal out water from the piston chambers, to make sure the
liners do not move away from the "8" gasket cement this is the reason for
clamping down on the liners until the head is installed, man o man did I
learn this lesson the hard way.  "FT"
