Main Bearing is between the block and the crankshaft.
Big-end Bearing is between the connecting-rod and the crankshaft.

The term "big-end" comes from the fact that the hole in the connecting-rod
for the crankshaft is larger than the hole for the wrist-pin (gudgeon-pin).
