FWIW -- CT 36536 L does not have it nor any trace of its having been 
there.  It is a mostly original fairly low miles car so I doubt it was 
ever there.

The long 'felt' padding under (well over actually) the bonnet brace is 
present as well as corded rubber pads under the cross brace of the bonnet.
