battery box size

I was looking in the VB catalogue that arrived a little while back. I see a
battery container that looks like a carton of laundry soap with the top half
cut off at an angle. The question: Has anybody installed one? are they built
for the old narrow Lucas batteries, or for the new smaller more square plan
batteries?
