I just did the adjustment on my TR6, and the Bently manual calls
for .010 in with the engine cold.  However, I remember a heated
discussion on the list awhile back with some claiming that
adjustment with the engine hot was best.  I think someone even
talked about doing it with the engine running!  I have no idea
how this would be done; I'm not even sure now that I am
remembering correctly.  But you might hear about it.
