If this works, it's definitely a superior method.  I always try air first
(my blow gun has a tip that fits fairly well into the opening), but I've
seen lots of cylinders where 120 psi wasn't enough to 'blow' them.

Another thought occurs ... just hook the calipers up to the car's hydraulic
system and stomp the brakes !  Still not as much pressure as the grease
method, but you should be able to hit 1000 psi or so.
