No flame but one other step I'd suggest if rodents are possible, block your
exhaust! You can ripe your hair out trying to figure out why it won't start
in the spring if something has built a nest in your muffler.
PS never heard the Irish spring idea before, but it probably smells better
then mothballs ;)
