The top on my TR8 has an 8" clean tear horizontally along a seam behind the
driver's side window a few inches below the side back window.
The PO says that the top tore when he put it up in very cold weather.
Can I feasibly repair the tear with a vinyl repair kit? I asked an
upholsterer and he said to just buy a new top.
Any experience on repairs out there?
