Why do we drive on a parkway & park in a driveway
Hi Fred,
In my locality 'parkway' is an apt name - during the so-called "rush hour"
which actually lasts for over 2 hours and nothing actually rushes. I once
saw, written in the dirt on the back of a bus "passengers are requested not
to pick flowers whilst the vehicle is in motion".
