Doug,

By definition, anyone who races or autocrosses a TR is an annoying
proletariet. No blue bloods in the FOT group (well, I can think of maybe 1).

There are plenty of FOT members contributing on this list, including Bob
Lang, who has to be one of the top TR autocrossers in the US. If Bob hasn't
answered the original question, that means he is away from his email. Just
yesterday, a question regarding removing a TR3 radiator was replied to by a
man who won a SCCA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in his TR3 road racer.

The FOT list has been kept small deliberately, primarily in order to
prevent the types of outbreaks that take place on this list. Sadly, there
are people who think that lists such as these just exist to suit them,
through some Internet miracle, and who give not one whit of thought to the
fact that somewhere, someone is busting his ass as a labor of love in order
to keep us all connected. And that someone invests large sums of his own
money as well, although I'm sure his time investment is personally more
costly than his cash investment.

In the meantime, if you have a competition related question, ask away. I'm
sure someone will be able to answer it. Even if the question oozes with
sarcasm such as your posting above.
