I currently have 6 or 7 DPWA's and have rebuilt many of them. If you push
the shuttle all the way to one side it is easy to see that it does not shut
anything off. Even with the shuttle all the way (either way) the passage
from inlet to outlet on either side is unblocked.
I have one in my hand at this time (well, OK... I put it down to type) I
pushed the shuttle all the way over and the passage is clearly open from
inlet to outlet.
By the way, be careful centering through the switch hole. There is a small
spring and a little BB size ball bearing that can easily get lost.
