Kai,
I visited Steve's site and wonder, since I'm not a mechanical engineer
or a machinist, why a cam for a 289/302 Ford V8 engine can be ground for
$150, while a TR6 cam costs $312 to grind (with 4 fewer lobes)?
Good price on the lifters, though.

$70 for a new set of tappets is spotty considering how many of them
aren't
hardened to their proper levels (Rockwell Hardness of 53, I believe?).
Might as well find someone who will reprofile and polish your old
tappets
and check their hardness. Steve at Integral Cams does this at a VERY
reasonable price of $3 per tappet.
