The "Flame Thrower" part is familiar however, I'm not sure it was connected
to "Lucas." It seems to me that the Jags (sportscars) and larger Brit sedans
had some driving lights that were about 8" to 10" and had flat lenses.
Occasionally someone would put one or two of these monsters on an MG or
Morgan and they looked ridiculous. Somehow though, they looked OK on the
sedans and the Jags.
