My '64 TR4 (CT38895/LO) has always had Spa White pressed steel wheels -
the car was delivered through a dealer (Jan 65) in Germany, where I
bought it. This is consistent with the Standard-Triumph Service Bulletin

Michael, that cream (usually Spa White) likely is correct for your car.

the following for a Standard-Triumph Service Bulletin "explaining" the
change
from silver to white wheels in early 1963: <

applied
to all markets, but it certainly was the case in the US until 1968 or so
when
silver seemed to return as the normal color for steel wheels.
