When I stripped mine out, I repaired them using helicoil inserts.  I used a hand
drill and hand tap while the semi-trailing arms were still mounted on the car.
That was three years and numerous autocrosses ago and I have had know problems
since then.  Remember that those studs and nuts require very little torque (I
don't remember the exact figure right now).
