I wouldn't sweat the non-use aspect of the car's history too much except
to try to understand *why* it wasn't used much.  As noted in another
post, rubber items are subject to deterioration but even that might not
be a big problem after "only" 7 years.

In general a car that is driven regularly runs better and gets sorted
out properly, becoming, in the end, reliable transportation.  Without
such regular driving there may still be some remaining issues from the
restoration.

IMHO for $14,000 you should expect a car that was restored to a pretty
high standard with documentation/photos to support what was done.  If no
such documentation exists then a close and thorough examination is
especially critical (e.g. how rust was dealt with, was gearbox or diff
rebuilt, what parts are new, etc.).

Perhaps someone on the list would be willing to take a look for you if
it is far away (after first swearing they have no interest in buying).
