AE Clevite bought Vandervell, and changed all the VDV part numbers. I just
ordered a full set of .010 under bearings from TRF and got genuine
Vandervell rod bearings (still waiting on the mains :( ). I'm also waiting
on piston rings from TRF and an oil pump from VB. I hope the oil pump
rumor isn't true.
