Does anyone have suggestions on how a fiberboard radiator shroud can be
protected to get a longer useful life? Any type of paint that should be
used? TIA

Take it off and store it in the house. Get the aluminum one from "Good
Parts", less than $100 and will last forever.
No $$$$ interest, but always accepting kick-backs.
