There was a great article by T. R. Householder in the January 1993
"Triumph Tribune" (newsletter of Triumph Register of So. Calif) entitled
"T.R. in the Lost Tomb". Among the treasures he found in the abandoned
Cal Sales Building in L.A. were a quantity of these stenciled wooden
shipping bumpers.
Many items were recovered and saved by that effort but somehow these old
bumpers were an especially meaningful "prize".
