List:

I've had several requests about the BRG TR6 by Ertl. This
is a special edition of the car. There are only 2500 being
made and the box lists the number of the car you buy, and
the number made. They are not cheap - I paid $50.00 for
mine brand new.

The blue and red versions are a far bigger run, and you
should be able to get them for less the $20.00 at the big
stores. Those of you that buy the car, make sure and save
the package. Sometime down the line these will be worth
more than you paid, but only if the box is intact. If you
buy a limited edition, be sure and keep the box since it is
different than that of the two others, and it will have the
model number on a little sticker on the clear plastic
window.

I know $50.00 sound crazy, but no more than the nearly
$15,000 I have in my 1:1 scale TR3 which is worth only about
$10,000.

You can get the BRG TR6 from:

www.ewacars.com

or

www.triple-c.com

I have used both firms and, although I have no financial
interest in either, have been please with their service.
Both have a large list of diecast, plastic, and resin cars.
EWA has all makes both foreign and USA, and Triple-C is
primarily LBC's. EWA will take internet orders, Triple-C
you will have to give them a call.

Usually Toys-r-us doesn't carry the limited editions, nor do
most local toy or hobby shops unless they specialize in
die-casts. I you really want to see shops with diecasts you
have to visit England or Europe.

Don't mean to overload the group with mail other than 1:1
scale LBC's, but on a limited budget you have to collect the
smaller scale.

By the way, I just got back from the North American
International Auto Show in Detroit, and if any of you have
the chance, go and see the Jaguar display! They have a new
S class sedan that is outstanding. As soon as you see the
car you remember the Mark II sedan. Also a beautiful XK-250
concept car and an older XKE. Don't miss the M-B redesign
of the Gull-wing coupe.
