Please do not use plastic pipe. This is a very dangerous practice. There are
doucumented cases where explosions have injured people. The plastic pipe will
not handle the pressures that an air compressor generates, and oil from the
compressor will soften the plastic which will cause the plastic tubes to fail.
Use gavinized pipe of the right size (longer run = larger diameter). The run
of pipe should have slope away from the compresser with a drain valve at the
lowest point. Further and outlets should be branched of of a tee with the tee
facing upwards so the condensation does not enter the airstream.
