Nate,
I don't know where you get your information about Y2K, but most K12
schools don't seem to have a Y2K clue. I work for one a fairly large
K12. We've been fighting for funding for 2 years. Grade reporting
systems as well as payroll are still under corrective construction.
Hardware in most schools is an even bigger problem. It's hard to say
were smaller districts that don't have official IS support functions
stand. My impressions is everyone assumes someone else checked it. Can
you put your finger on the nose of the person that checked your
organization? If you can not find an actual person that has their name
and reputation on the line most likely it wasn't checked. The same goes
for any organization small or large. Will there be enough hardware
available in the remaining 16 months to replace the critical desktops if
purchasing surges?

I have a suspicion that this Y2K beast is going to keep me from
finishing the TR3 in time...can I get a ride from someone?
