Phil -
I'll be 'racing' instead of 'showing' this Sunday. I'll be attending the
Adirondack Triumph Associations's Autocross at the Crossgates Mall in Albany
(exit 24 off the Thruway). Here's hoping that my throwout bearing holds up -
I've gone through 3 throwout bearings in the last 3 years and it's NOT auto-
crossing that's eating them. I wish I could figure out what is. Has anybody
(Bob Lang?) got any long-term experience yet w/ the TRF 'Magic Clutch'? Can
the throwout bearing from that setup be swapped for a standard one? For the
time and effort it takes to install a new baaring, I'd like to get one that
doesn't start chattering a month or two after it's installed (and yes, they
have all been correctly installed by a very competent LBC mechanic (that counts
me out)).
                                                        Dennis
