Tom,

Pull the hose where the gas goes into the front carb and place it so any gas 
from it will go into a can (or you can let it go all over the place for kicks 
and thrills).  Now push in the starter button on the soleniod.  You should get 
a strong spurt of gas each other engine revolution.  If the gas just dribbles 
out, or doesn't flow at all, the pump is bad or the fuel lines are blocked.  If 
you have gas, then the problem is in the carbs.
