OK, as promised, I have obtained a registration form for the 1998 All British
Car Show in St. Louis, MO, and am enclosing some highlights.
SATURDAY, Sept. 19th:
8AM - 10AM --- Hospitality and registration at the host hotel, Red Roof Inn,
11873 Lackland Road,
( Westport Plaza area ) St. Louis, MO 63146. Out of town visitors can call
1-800-843-7663 for room reservations. Special rate of $54 for double bed room.

11AM --- Start caravan from Red Roof Inn, (Westport Plaza, Page & Concourse) to
Forest Park.
Noon - 4PM --- Display in front of 150,000 spectators who have come to see 65
hot air balloons inflate and take off on the Great Forest Park Balloon Race. The
St. Louis Symphony will perform. Also, a sky diving show will be performed at
2PM.
4PM --- First balloon lift off. Those cars wishing to participate in the chase
will be assigned a balloon. There will be awards for Win, Place, and Show in
reaching your balloon.
6:30PM - Dusk --- Watch the sun set at a complimentary BBQ Picnic Dinner with
British car enthusiasts at Creve Coeur Lake Park.
SUNDAY, Sept. 20th:
8AM - 9AM --- Hospitality and Continental Breakfast at the Red Roof Inn, West
Port.
9AM --- Registration for the 17th Annual Midwest Region All British Car Show.
Venue, Marine Ave. - in Creve Coeur Lake Park.
11AM - 1PM --- Popular voting ( Door prizes will be awarded through out the show
)
3PM --- Awards, to include Popular Voting; Chairman's Choice; Diamond in the
Rough; Donald Healey's 100th Birthday Commemoration Award; 75th Anniversary of
TRIUMPH Award; and 50th Anniversary of having an MG Club in St. Louis Award.
Three or more cars will constitute a class. Less than 3 cars will be grouped
with the closest Marque.
Cost:
Registration (includes Hospitality, BBQ, and Car show), - $20 per car or vendor
space
Saturday Great Forest Park Balloon Race, special (close) display parking & chase
car permit - $5/car
Golf Shirts (S) (M) (L) (XL) - $12/shirt
T-Shirts (M) (L) (XL) (XXL) - $10/shirt
