| Subject: | Toluene = > octane? |

A while back someone mentioned that laquer thinner, which is toluene,
could be used to boost octane. So two questions:
1. Did I get this right - was it toluene?
2. What proportions are used to raise the octane by how much? Please,
if just a bit of toluene is used, specify whether your directions are
for American or Imperial gallons.
Thanks,
Jim Wallace
